7. Organizational Structure

There will be a "Nuclear Director Committee" in the Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology to provide necessary guidance and direction regarding the implementation of the National Nuclear Policy in Nepal in the long term. The committee can form technical committees with experts as needed. The formation of the Nuclear Steering Committee will be as follows.

Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology Member 4. Secretary, Home Ministry Member 5. Secretary, Ministry of Health and Population Member 6. Secretary, Ministry of Defense Member 7. Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Member 8. Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply Member 9. Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperative Member 10. Secretary, Nepal Science and Technology Academy member 11. Head, Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, Bhaktapur Member 12. Head, V.P. Koirala Cancer Hospital, Bharatpur Member 13. Head of Department, T.V.V., Physics Central Department Member 14. Experts working in the nuclear field nominated by the Government of Nepal 2 members 15. Scientific Advisor, Member of the Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology 16. Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology Member Secretary

In the implementation of this policy, the role of the Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology will be as promoter, facilitator and regulator.
